Who we are

We are a fast growing, female owned premium event staffing company based in London.

About Us

Slick was founded in 2020 as a new generation, premium event staffing company

Where we started

It’s an exciting time, where brands and events ask for more from their event staff.

We started Slick Event People because the usual event staffing model felt a little outdated.

Brands don’t just need “extra hands” anymore, they’re building real-world experiences, communities, and moments that people remember.

This shift opened a window for something new.

So we built a team of front-facing staff and performers with personality: confident, proactive, and genuinely brilliant with people. Not just there to support the event but to carry the story, create connection, and feel like a natural extension of your brand.

If you’re looking for a team that shows up with energy, presence, and purpose, you’re in the right place.

Our Team

Our pool of wonderful event staff and performers are professional, proactive, adaptive, personable and an asset to any brand, private event or event producer.

Our team are mostly performers, meaning that they have a natural ability with problem solving, customer service, presentation and teamwork.

To us, it’s not just about filling a position, it’s about providing hand-picked and experienced people that suit your brand.

We believe our team should complement your team and enhance your hard work to ensure the event is a success.

We are London based but work on projects nationally and globally.

We’ve worked with many brands, event companies and event producers at all levels, so we understand how complicated and challenging running an event can be, whatever your staffing/ performing needs, we are here to help.

At Slick, we love to work with clients whose beliefs and cultures align with ours, if this sounds like you/your company, please do get in touch, we’d love to work with you.

DIVERSITY

We believe in the power of diversity; our event staff and performers are consciously inclusive.

Alongside this, we would like to look to the future and support the wonderful progress being made to improve the events workplace, we support established breaks, practical expenses, fair, quick pay and comfortable uniforms.

We believe this culture really helps maintain a happy and sustainable team while working long on an event.

Inclusion

Slick is just getting started, but as we grow, our aim is to create opportunities to diversify the event world and provide more hiring opportunities for more people.

If you have any contacts, community or event projects that encourage and facilitate the progression of disability in the workplace, gender equality (including all aspects of this) and diversity we would really love to work with you.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, but we’d love to lay some foundations to encourage a better, more inclusive future.
